GO Day is a time that we set apart each year to go into the community and be the hands and feet of Jesus. It's a day that reminds us that we don't go to church, we are the church! We will meet in the sanctuary at 9:30am then go into the community!
When: May 21, 2023
Where: We will meet in the sanctuary at 9:30am and then go into the community.
Childcare: We will have the nursery open but we encourage parents to bring their kids so they can see and experience serving the community.
Sites for this year:
- Homebound Delivery: Visiting and Delivery food to our homebound members.
- St. Francis Food Prep: Preparing food that will go to St. Francis employees.
- St. Francis Food Delivery: Delivering food to St. Francis to fee employees.
- Francis Tower/Ouachita Bag Delivery: Delivering goodie bags to residents at Francis Tower and Ouachita Grand Plaza.
- Johnson Community Center: Building a community garden. (will be outside and will require a lot of volunteers)
- The Vine: Assisting The Vine (pregnancy center) with organization and help around their facility.
